SD abandoned love
Last Weekend we went back to South Dakota for a rockin’ wedding ( I will blog that later), and the weather was PERFECT!! My awesome friend Suzy and I ventured out to some of my favorite places out by the farm. The light was amazing and we had so much fun searching around for fun textures and new treasures. I always wonder when I photograph stuff like this what their story would be if they could talk. Kinda like the movie cars, I really wanted them to all start telling me stories and have races. The old farms and barns also intrigue (and scare) me. I wonder who lived there and what their story was. Either way we had a great time, I made Suzy overcome her fear of tall grass and wood ticks, and guess who had one crawling on her sock when we got home, yep, that would be me. It was totally worth it though!!

aunt wanda....this one is for you, who knew they named a motor oil after you.

Love this....

the light in this image makes giddy

I took this one because it reminded me of my dad growing up. The rain gauge was something that was the cause of many conversations. Every farmer from the area would call asking how much rain we got, and they would all compare totals. Makes you realize how much farmers really do rely on God and favorable weather. Love it!

Check out the inside of the car, I kinda wanted to sit in it and see if I could move it with my feet
