A couple weeks ago Jamie and I ventured to South Dakota for another fun wedding. Our adventure took us through the town of Walnut Grove (gotta love me some Laura Ingalls Wilder) and it also involved a couple missed turn offs and NO SERVICE! Thank you AT&T, when will your company ever figure it out that there are actually humans living in South Dakota who don’t drive horse and buggy?? The memories that we make on our out of town weddings are so priceless, I am thankful that I get the opportunity to go back to my home state and capture weddings. South Dakota will always have a special place in my heart
So as far as the wedding goes…..Jordan and Steph…wow.. what can I say?? Your wedding was gorgeous, even though it was -10 wind chill, you two and your crazy love for each other made it seem like it was 80 degrees out
The love and support you have from your family and friends was very apparent as well and all those happy tears shed. You two are going to have a long and happy life together and I am excited to see where the road takes you two. Congrats once again!! PS I got a little carried away with the pics on this post
Enjoy!

S T U N N I N G!!!!

This is why I love having two photographers on the wedding day, two different perspectives. This was their first look, Jordans look on his face is priceless!

Look at those rockin legs!! Steph was an AMAZING runner in High School and college, I think they said at the wedding she can even beat Jordan

Love the two different perspectives once again!

AWW Miss Macy, gotta love her!! Their first baby!!

another great pic by Jamie

The ladies looking fierce!

Jamie and I went driving through the country the day before the wedding to look for the perfect tree. I think God was smiling on us because he led us to the perfect tree

This image makes my heart happy
I LOVE GRANDPARENTS!!

Love the softness of this pic!

I felt inclined to share a composite of a couple of the dance images. Let me just tell you, this dance was once CRAZY party, so much fun! I think that "Save a horse ride a cowboy" was involved with some of these images. Oh and I should mention, the guy on the left was one of there awesome DJ's, they definitely knew how to get the crowd going!
I know I am way behind on blogging, but I wanted to share a few of the senior shoots I did while I was back home a month ago. The first one is Cristian. His family is so much fun to be around, so when Marissa asked me to take his senior pics I was thrilled. I gotta admit though, I was a little nervous to photograph him, just because I feel like I am not that good at photographing senior boys, but once I got there and started taking pictures, it just flowed. I had a great time hanging with them, and his dad had all these fun ideas, it was cracking me up. Cristian, I know you are going to go far in life, good luck with your future endeavors.

Love this one!

This image is right up there with one of my favorites of all time. Marissa asked me to put this verse on there and I LOVE it!!

Loved this session with one of my favorite families! She always knows how to dress the kids really funky, I love it!! Even though I got a $45 parking ticket (really Minneapolis, what happened to the days of $10 parking tickets), it was totally worth every penny!

At the end of the session they whipped out the sidewalk chalk and went to town on one of the buildings. Love the sisterly love shown here. If you can read one of them says Ellie rocks more than Izzy

They are such posers, it was so much fun!!

Gorgeous! Dad watch out!

Probably one of my favorites from the session!

Can't even stand how cute she is!!
