love how the wind is taking her veil! The wind was only about 60mph that day...no big deal, they were troopers and were all for going outside and trespassing with us :-) If Lynsey was worried about the wind ruining her hair that day we wouldn't have gotten all these fabulous outdoor shots. So basically what I am trying to say here to the brides is....don't stress and try to be laid back, your day is going to be perfect, even if the weather isn't ideal.

It was a little hard for me to wrap my brain around my images being in a magazine, but it has been one of my goals since I started photography, and I couldn’t be happier!

Then in January I was contacted by the editor of the Savvy.mn magazine that is published up here in the cities, to see if I was interested in photographing the winner of the cutest baby contest! I had so much fun and I even got to go the the Twin Cities Live taping since they were involved with the contest as well. They came out and taped me while I was photographing Benjamin.  The taping aired the other day, and I was thankful I didn’t sound that silly because when I photograph kids, I really do get in a zone and don’t really care about the crazy sounds that I make to try and get the kids to laugh at me :-)   It was a great experience and I am thankful that I got the opportunity.  Savvy is a magazine geared towards women living in the southwest suburbs.  They feature topics that relate to women: moms, personal life, shopping and entertainment and they also showcase small businesses around the area. Check it out if you are wanting an informative read. I highly recommend it!!
