This blanket was from their Aunt Irene and when Heather asked if they could borrow it for the session, Irene told them that she wanted to give it to them for the wedding anyway. How fun!!

I was so excited when Jackie said they wanted to do their engagement session on her farm where she grew up. I love it when couples make the session about them, it makes it so much more personal.  We had a blast and I am really looking forward to their wedding in Yankton this fall, it is going to be rockin!

I knew right as I pulled into their farm that this old red truck was gonna make for some fun photos. Good thing Jackie's dad didn't take her advice the previos week and get rid of it :-)

Check out her newborn photos here I love my job and when I get to see the little ones every three months, is so much fun!! We wanted a spring type feel to these pictures and I definitely think we got it! Molly has a beautiful yard, and thankfully some of her tulips were blooming (of course all her tulips decided to bloom the day after the shoot, but we still got some cute ones). Hope everyone has been out enjoying this great weather!! I am so excited for summer!!

These two are such a blast and I am so excited for their wedding. They definitely have a sweet kind of love for each other, and complement each other perfectly! I am so glad they told me they wanted their session to involve the lake and the areas surrounding it. We decided to go into Excelsior since they are huge lake people and I am so glad we did. We got so many cute pics!! Then we headed back to Justin’s house for some smores and a few more pics. They made my job easy that day! Happy Friday everybody!!
